Still a great operating system that is compatible with nearly 100% of software on the Windows platform. NEW computers today, and within the last couple of years, should be compatible with Windows 7. (see Windows 7).

Depending on the edition, you can monitor what children do over the Internet and can work with security permission of programs. WINDOWS 7 will work in many ways what you got used to with VISTA. Fax capability is not included with Home Premium edition.
Windows 7 is striving to ensue better software compatability with common applications, drivers, and games.
